VETERANS’ DAY CELEBRATION

November 9, 2007

 As a member of the business community you are invited to join Highmark and the PA Business Leadership Network as they celebrate Veterans Day in Pittsburgh, PA.

 This event will start at 10:30 a.m. and include information on recruiting/retaining veterans with disabilities.  Lunch and networking (until 1 p.m.) with local resources will follow the main presentation.

 Our keynote speaker will be Janet Fiore, CEO, The Sierra Group, Inc..  Ms. Fiore will be talking about the program Hire Heroes USA.  The Hire Heroes program is a business driven initiative with a goal of matching up returning veterans with disabilities to its partner businesses across America. The Sierra Group is acting as the candidate sourcing 

agent for Hire Heroes.

 The cost for this event is $25.  Proceeds from this event will benefit both the PA Business Leadership Network (www.blnofpa.org) and Hire Heroes USA (www.hireheroesusa.org) .
